I don’t think GM’s well being is as indicative of the general economy as it once was but I think we are going into a recession. The Federal Reserve has been doing a lot to try to stave it off but the outlook is not good.
Yeah. And for any of you that agree with this, you better not own a foreign car, because you have already directly contributed to the problems GM is facing right now. Buy Amercian and we wouldn’t be having this kind of problem.
I have heard that saying before, but I don’t think it is true, because the Federal Reserve controls the economy 100%. If there is a depression it is because they created a depression, and the same thing goes for Recession and inflation. They also control interest rates 100%. They are masters at manipulating the economy to suit their agenda at any given time. Their agenda is NEVER for the benefit of the so called common man. They are pure evil. 100% *sm*

I think we’ll definitely see less growth in the next couple of years. of course, no one knows, but I’m hopeful we avoid a recession.
What’s worse is that it is now estimated that the total losses in mortgage related securities will exceed $250 billion. That’s roughly 2% of the GDP.
