Let me make this simple . . . .
You got a job? . . . . good . . . they want your money.
Then they take YOUR tax-dollars to “buy” support by handing out the money to every liberal group they can find . . .
BUT . . . . make “sure” the money doesn’t hit the streets until 2010 just about the time . . . . they are up for re-election.
So .. . . basically the trillion dollars are to consolidate Democratic power base . . ..

Sadly, fixing the problem isn’t the main goal of this bill. The Democrats were planning to go this direction (towards a France-like socialism) before this economic crisis hit. Never mind that Democrat Barney Frank (among others) dismissed concerns about sub-prime mortgages. Never mind that he called the representative from the Congressional Budget Office “incompetant” and possibly “rascist” for bringing up the matter of Fannie and Freddie back in 2004! No, Barney gets a pass, because “he loves me, I love you.”
They do not want to “fix” the problem, they want to return to the New Deal, in which government has greater control over our lives.
It is the largest inflation inducing event in the last 80 years. Some people feel medical experts need more money. Some people feel that they should be paid to return to their home for which they suffered a foreclosure based on inability to pay the note installments.
