I want the government to leave me alone, which is why I’m not voting for either of these clowns. The Libertarian Party is the only small-government party left in this country.
A complicated and varied society needs complicated governance. It’s not 1776 or 1886 and America is now an industrialised nation with a massive population. Stop living the 17th century over and over again. Henry David Thoreau was active in the 19th century, this is the 21st.
Wake up to reality and stop pretending America has lost a utopia.
I’m definitely on the side of believing in myself and looking at the government, especially the federal government, with a great deal of suspicion.
I’m not familiar with McCain’s opposition to Bush’s tax cuts but McCain wasn’t my first choice, anyway.
An important point most people (at least liberals) don’t realize is that the majority of small business owners in this country make $250,000 and over. Most of that money goes into keeping their businesses open and keeping other people employed. And small businesses as a group is this country’s largest employer. But B. Hussein Obama wants to raise the taxes on small business owners, forcing many to either lay off employees or shut their doors entirely.
What happened to Democrats being for the little guy? And, God forbid, if Obama wins in November, who will the Democrats blame when unemployment shoots through the roof and productivity plummets?
there must be a government and it must work for all the people. conservatives assume all goverment is wasteful and giving out handouts which we have painfully learned is not true. skimp on security, intellegence(9/!! happens). cut out regulations we get wall st meltdown. government is necessary but must have oversight. no one is above oversight. why would conservatives think ceos are more honest than garbage men. conservative principles have failed worse than liberal ones examples, deregulation, trickle down economics ,small government, corporate welfare, union breaking.the problem is when poor or middle class people suffer there are no golden parachutes, no bailouts and no sympathy.
I BELIEVE IN MYSELF!
Myself, government leave me alone, I don’t need you!
Is this a question….or just your rant?
myself – government shouldn’t be taking care of everyone from cradle to grave
Government should get out of our lives
Of course me,they will always lie.
