    Whew that’s a nice block of text there. I wonder if it will be any more effective after Obama wins?

  2. Pokie™ says:

    No. wherever you copied that is what’s fooling you.

  3. Brian says:

    No, not everyone but sadly he may be fooling enough people..

  4. Bugs Barack says:

    No, just the ones voting for him.

  5. soulsearcher says:

    No, only you.

  6. kelly says:

    yea he does. thats why hes winning. by the way, if you dont want to pay taxes, move to another country. its as simple as that.

  7. Steve says:

    I have been saying this for 3 months, and very few understand. negative federal income tax is welfare.

    Also the payroll tax arguement does not hold water. Because when it comes time to receive benefits. For every time you double what you pay in you get about 1.5X back.

    if you made yearly
    10K=X
    20K=1.75X
    40K=2.5X
    80K =3.75X

    Regular insurance
    10K=X
    20K=2X
    40K= 4X
    80K=8X

  9. hammer says:

  10. Keith V says:

  11. 006 says:

    Nice cut and paste there, buddy. Is this what you went to college for?

  12. Obama's Pants says:

    No just the ones that do not have access to Google Search.

    Like so many here on YA. You can spot them easily, they always ask for a link.

  13. ms bell says:

    Obama has everybody except for ME fooled! He doesn’t fool me one bit. Obama is the biggest fool of them all!

  14. Morey000 says:

    Firstly- I’m not sure that I follow all your words.
    Secondly- they are BOTH campaigning and it’s highly unlikely that any of these tax plans will look even similar as they romp through congress next year.
    Thirdly- and most importantly, the difference is one of philosophy. We’ve undergone the greatest separation between rich and poor in this country since the great depression. The trickle down philosophy, while it sounds good, has been proven not to work, and has once again failed. And that Obama’s philosophy takes us back to a progressive tax structure similar to what we had under Regan.

  15. A Maverick Like Everone Else says:

    Whoever the next President is, taxes are going up. I ignore most of what they both say about taxes because I know that neither of them have any idea o what’s REALLY going to happen with taxes when they get into office.

    McCain would end up having to raise taxes too. Our country is operating at an enormous deficit.

  16. Baccheus says:

    How can anybody believe either candidate on tax? There is no way there is going to be any new tax cut. The deficit is killing us. The world is on the brink of an economic disaster caused be a liquidity crunch and the world’s biggest debtor is the US government. We would all be better off if we had pay a bit more in taxes to support the wars we want to fight and for the government to run. Without the government sucking up available funds, we would have paid a few hundred more dollars in tax and saved a few hundred thousand dollars in our retirement portfolios. Lower taxes are bad, very bad. Look at what they have brought. Nobody is going to lower taxes, they have to go up because the deficit is crushing our economy.
    If you are voting based on a belief in a tax cut you are seriously naive.

  17. Theatre Doc says:

    Not at all. There is a change coming that will defeat obama.

  18. Dave W says:

    “You can fool some of the people some of th time, some of the people most of the time, but not all the people all of the time”. — quote from Abe Lincoln and Adlai Stevenson.

    Given the fact that 28 years of last 40 we’ve had a Republican sitting in the White House, with them being on vacation, lots of that time; and being that the GOP has controlled the Congress for about 8 of last 10 years, while our National Debt has doubled, who do you think has been doing the most “fooling”?

    I’m not going to be fooled any longer, not even by one of longest questions I’ve seen on YA for a long time, lol.

    If McCain wants to help the Middle Class, maybe he should have started a few weeks ago, mentioning how his programs and policies will actually help them. Long silence………
    ……………………………………………………………………
    ………………………………..

    What we hear from McCain campaign is more attacks on Obama for his connection to John Ayers, when they both set on an Education Reform Committee, sit up with a grant from a Ronald Reagan fund, and had other Republicans sitting on the same committee.

    Wow, that’s something the GOP thinks is important enough to spend millions on ads for, to win this election for them. Who’s fooling whom now?

  19. Thomas SR says:

    Not enough of then to get him elected. I don’t care what the polls say.
