Well the young people of today when graduating are not only facing an economy with little job opportunities, but they are also coming into a world wherein they have more student loan debt than ever before (due to the federal government’s switch from grants to loans in the last 30 years), if they have a job they are facing wages that adjusted for inflation are stagnate at the same level they were in 1979. They are also in a category where over 20% of them are uninsured due to many work places no longer provided insurance due to its high price (which is an unprecedented number).
And when private job growth is stagnant employers like the US military (aka Uncle Sam) are usually the only areas of growth.
Yep people understand filing for unemployment bt not for going out and looking for a new job.
Uncle Sam = We the People.
We will regulate fairness, equity, efficiency.
BTW, look at other more efficient Health Care systems and you’ll see they are privately delivered, e.g. Germany….
Our government is here for US! That is the purpose of the government, to serve its people!
I’ve noticed that right winged people go to the absolute extreme on everything.
If Obama wants to help people without healthcare, you take that as every single person in the country is going to get government healthcare.
If Obama wants to help the unemployed, you take that as every single person in America is going to be on food stamps.
The goverment is going to regulate, not control. Do you really want the AIG types running your healthcare without any regulations? Think about it, wherever a profit can be made, there is greed. Obama is trying to stop that…..FOR US!
I hesitate to “blame” the Obamagator or young people, but….
- there are a lot of people coming from all over the world to the US that have no interest in working (other than for “change” to their ways)
- one of four people incarcerated is foreign born; many illegal.
- MILLIONS want to get on the gravy train
- the “SYSTEM” cannot sustain itself: massive taxation is need NOW

Want good health? Why shouldn’t the government provide? Last I heard, good health was a right, not a privilege.
Want better wages? Let me guess… I suppose you want to work your @$$ off for sweatshop wages? I didn’t think so.
Took out a mortgage you can’t afford? Why the hell were we approved in the first place? The banks new better. We just wanted a home for our families. They just wanted to make a profit at our expense.
Can’t decide what school is best for your child? Why don’t we make all schools great learning environments so parents can concentrate on other things… like putting food on the table.
Answer me honestly. Do republicans think ANYTHING through before they speak?
We pay the government a LOT of money. They should do *something* with it.

I think that McCain is showing by his example that all should be supported their entire life by taxpayer dollars.
McCain has never held a civilian job, he has never had to worry about, food,money,health care, a job,education, housing, medications, therapies,or punishment for his mistakes.
McCain is a fine example of how someone should be taken care of in this country.
Everyone should be raised in a home where none of the above issues is ever a concern.
What private sector job has he ever managed ?
What obstacle has he ever had to overcome that was not his own fault?
When has he ever been held responsible for his mistakes?
Doesn’t he show by example that we she all freeload as he has done?
Doesn’t he show by example that he has no moral character in his dealings with his first wife, trading secrets to his captors for favorable treatment, and his neglect of Veterans by cutting their funding?

Yes, he’s a terrible role model ..he’s saying you don’t have to work just sit back on your butts and live off the government they will free of charge give you everything you need and want.Come on people where the heck do you think the money is supposed to come from it will make the government bankrupt and then desperate measures will have to be taken.
Uncle Sam cannot decide all these things for people i think Obama must think Americans have no brains if they are not smart enough to figure out it won’t work this way.If people honestly believe him then he just bought his ticket into the White House.

Obama’s inspiring a young generation to be duped by fancy smooth rhetoric and doubletalk, then sing koombaya, and check your mailbox for your Obama check instead of working 10-12 hours a day to build a business.
Obama definitey undermines self reliance and is robbing our young from the rewarding drive to acquire skills and work hard to build their own version of the American dream.
I am an Independent voter.
I am a well educated, middle aged man.
I run my own business and am doing reasonably well.
I have examined the candidate’s plans ( although neither will be able to implement their plans)
I have read what the economic scholars and pundits have said about the candidate’s plans (try reading an issue or two of the Economist)
I have evaluated the character, personality, and demeanor of each candidate for myself.
I am voting for Obama.
