No. Everyone’s a fiscal conservative until it’s thir azz that’s on the line.
They keep telling me this is th nature of capitalism so I guess if you live by th dollar then you die by the dollar.

If people can PROVE that they were scammed by predatory lenders (and that did happen), I think we should help them and bill those lenders for that help.

If people were just reckless or stupid, they should be allowed to fail.

And I don’t think we should be helping lenders at all. If they were stupid enough to give loans to people who couldn’t afford them, the companies should fail.

I’d like to know where my mortgage free money is. Where’s the $600 billion program to reward those that are current on mortgage payments and haven’t missed a payment? If those that made dumb mortgage decisions get $300 billion, those of us that made smart decisions with our money should at least get double that.

If someone is truly scammed that is one thing and I could see helping them out (and the money should first come from the company that scammed them). Being uninformed or ignorant on financial information, however, is not being scammed.

As a productive person with a six figure income, this will be just the latest rear end reaming from the Parliament of Whores. Due to my efforts, responsible behavior and 48% loan-to-value mortgage, I received no “stimulus” payment nor will I receive any mortgage relief. My “stimulus” went to a deadbeat who paid no taxes but that the government decided had a “greater propensity to spend”, and my mortgage relief will go to a deadbeat who deserves my property to continue experiencing his “right” to the American dream.
