I am sending a request for a federal bailout for me. I need a bailout as bad as any of these other jokers.
If this crap keeps happening the Federal debt will get pushed so high the whole country will collapse. Bush seems determined to jack it up as high as he can before he is forced out of office.
The government should not be bailing them out. They should be cutting the million dollar plus salaries of the big wigs. Why should we pay for their mistakes? They don’t bail me out when I over draw my checkbook!
The next government bailout will be to the US dollar in the form of a North American Union currency called the Amero.
I agree with everything you said except the government bail out part. This is a tax payer bail out. We’re footing the bill for misguided policy that started with Reagan’s “get government of the backs of business”.
McCain’s been riding that train for 30 years until Monday of this week when he flip-flopped to demanding government regulations on industries that it guarantees (FDIC, SDIC, too big to fail, etc.)
It took both parties to get us where we are in this situation. You can point fingers all day, but in the end, there are still more pointing back! If you want to blame someone, look in the mirror.

I’m not wondering why the economy is struggling? Handwritin’s been on the wall for years, average Americans didn’t pay attention. Americans are that way. If things are OK in your househould, yeah Republicans, ummm, I voted for them. And, even when the shit hits the fan, like now, I personally know people that will say “somehow this is Clinton’s fault”, the world is full of fools. All for instant gratification, that can be taken away at a moments notice by uncle sam, and the stroke of a pen.
And, I really detest these folks on Fox! It’s them poor ppl that got us in this mess? Shouldn’t have taken those loans on houses they couldn’t pay for. But, they were…paying. Till they lost their jobs and the market went sour, I’m old enough to see this happen generation after next, ppl forget, Republicans are for the rich and always will be. (Shouldn’t have bought those houses unless you had at least $200 to back them up)!!!! That’s what we do!
The biggest problem that I see is that ppl don’t want to be identified with the poor and that means voting Democrat. The poorest ppl I know vote Rep on the gun toting and anti-abortion laws alone, they nothing of their platform for economics, health care, etc and don’t seem to care. I wish that they could view the world in a broader spectrum, that is not all that life is about.
In that ,Obama was correct, I’m not supporting him, here in this medium, but I understand what he meant. Stubborn persuasion here in the South! Out and out ignorance here, and up north, they don’t escape, either!
What do you think the answer is?
Oh, you think Paul or Nader, they might do a good job. I agree. But, what is needed first, is a complete mindset change in us!
I know what I want, a clean government, a responsible one and finally one, as it should be, for the people!
