u will be ok. kind of in the same boat here. i had to take a leave at 28 weeks this time. i am now almost 32 weeks and hubby’s job is unstable and maybe going overseas
but everything will be ok trust me things work out.
Well if you are getting laid-off, there should be a severence package. Make sure it’s a good one. Put some money in savings to last until you go on disability, and then start looking for a job after the baby is born so that you can go back to work after 6 weeks. Don’t stress, people seem to manage all the time. Things will be fine, just be there for each other and don’t let this become an issue, you have enough going on as it is.
Cry a lot. What else can you do but that and pray? There’s no way that I’d even consider aborting if that’s what you’re saying! You’ll manage; lots of people do. Good luck!
I would continue with the pregnancy if it were me personally…..Finances can always be straightened back out at a later date if you fall behind on something as a result of the layoff…However, a unique individual baby cannot be gotten back once they are gone. Just my humble opinion, no offense intended.
I am sorry to hear that…. well if it makes you feel any better, my employer cut my hours back little by little once I told him that I was pregnant. I went from a 40 hour a week schedule to an 8 hour schedule. I had never experienced any kind of discrimination my entire life, this was a wake up call… I had no idea that depending on where you work, they can really treat you like garbage when you become pregnant. (I quit and then reported them to the EEOC) I am not saying that your pregnancy caused this, but maybe its possible if your employer knew of your news.
Unemployment is an option for you, look into it…they can help.

I’ve already had an abortion, and I tell you I would NEVER do it again…even if this situation came up. I still haven’t gotten my period and it’s been almost 3 months. Possible pregnancy again, but like I said NEVER AGAIN.
If it’s not positive that you’re going to get laid off, even though you’re pregnant, try your hardest to show them why it would be a bad idea for them to lay you off…
If that doesn’t work, have backup. Start looking for another job. If you quit on them, it’s easier to find a job later than if they have to lay you off.

you pray.god will not put anymore on you than you can handle.the baby is your blessing.it may not seem like it now ,but you’ll see it in the end.there is always a silver lining at the end of every dark cloud.in the meantime ,they have all sorts of programs that can help until you get back on your feet.also,now is a good time to start budgeting.cut back on everything that is not a necessity.ask your husband to get a second job.everyone has to make sacrifices.they are necessary in relationships.good luck and i hope you have a healthy baby.by the way,i know what you’re going through.with each one of my kids i would ask “how am i gonna get through this”.especially when my husband fell ill.i now have eight and the lord has made a way each time.i’m still amazed that i’m able to support my children.things happen for a reason and somehow when you think you’ve reached a point of break,that silver lining comes through.
